Other people may view Tic-Tac-Toe as a game for kids as this game is so simple it can be played using a pencil and a paper. However, most people don’t know, this game requires strategy in order for one to win every time. Astoundingly few players and game enthusiast alike know that there is an optimal strategy for this game. There maybe some other player that you will never beat although they are very unusual but knowing this strategy can make you a Tic Tac Toe expert.
First and foremost, let us talk about the different types of Tic Tac Toe players:
A.) The Beginners or novice players who make random moves or marks on the 3×3 grid. They simply put their mark in any empty space and do not see that the other player must be blocked. This kind of player almost never wins.
B.) The Intermediary player who knows how to block the other player’s moves preventing him to win. Majority of Tic Tac Toe players belong to this type wherein they will try to stop or prevent their opponents to make three marks in sequence or will make a mark of three in a row whenever they can to win.
C.) The Experienced player who knows that if they mistakenly put a mark on a specific square during the first few stages of the game will make them lose the game. This type of player knows the game very well. They even know where to put the mark correctly at the start for them to surely win the game and most of all they know when they see an opponent makes a bad move.
The Expert players who no matter what their opponent does, never loses. The opening move is the hardest to figure out for a non-expert. Nonetheless, beyond this first mark one can be an experienced player then become an expert.
